For Faculty

Greetings esteemed faculty members! Humanities E-Book (HEB) is happy to present our new “For Faculty” page. Here, you can find all the tools you need to inform your decision on whether to use or assign a HEB title.

Request a Title List

If you would like to request a title list (by subject, publisher, publication date, or whatever you need) just email HEB and someone will respond quickly!

Tools for Faculty

  • HEB’s User Manual
  • HEB’s collection allows for unlimited, simultaneous access…so next time a student tells you they could not log on to a title, you know they’re bluffing.
  • Annotate any title in the collection by using the free hypothes.is tool, an open platform allowing for note-taking on top of online resources across the web that have enabled this feature. To make annotations and comments, it is necessary to first create an account or sign-in by clicking the right arrow button at the top of the hypothes.is sidebar.
  • Want to dive deeper into a title?  Use HEB’s Altmetric tool to see what other faculty have assigned a title, where on social media a title has popped up, and different ways an online title is being discussed.

  • Interested in one of HEB’s Special Series? Check out an annotated list of all of the HEB Special Series, here.

Questions? Email HEB or call 212-697-1505, ext. 148.
