Brooke Belott is Assistant Editor for ACLS Humanities E-Book. She joined HEB in September 2007. She also works as an editor, writer, production manager and administrator in the dance field at Movement Research. She is a dancer who performed extensively with choreographer/visual artist Ed Tyler, and works on various projects with other artists. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a double B.A. in Dance and English.

Eileen Gardiner holds a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature, with a specialization in medieval literature, from Fordham University. She has taught on the university level and published several articles and books on medieval vision literature, including her Visions of Heaven and Hell Before Dante. She is the winner of an American Association of University Women Fellowship. She has worked in many aspects of the book trade since 1967, and in 1985 cofounded Italica Press in New York City. Since 1986 she has been active in developing Italica Press’s series of electronic books in medieval studies and is the editor of The Holy Land on Disk. She is also the editor of Hell-on-Line a website that comprises a comprehensive collection of visions, tours and descriptions of the infernal otherworld from various religious and cultural traditions. With Dr. Musto she is the co-author of the article on “The Electronic Book” in the forthcoming edition of The Oxford Companion to the Book.

Nina Gielen is HEB’s Editor for Digital Content and Production. Her work primarily involves development and print-to-digital conversion of XML books. She holds a B.A. in English from Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School.

Cameron Martin is an Editorial Intern for the Humanities E-Book. He is currently a junior studying English and Creative Writing at Fairfield University. When not at the HEB Center, Cameron is a vocalist and choral singer on campus and enjoys poetry and fiction writing.

Ronald G. Musto holds a Ph.D. in medieval and Renaissance History from Columbia University and taught on the college level for several years. He specializes in fourteenth-century Italian history and has published seven books and various articles in scholarly journals. He is a fellow of the American Academy in Rome and the winner of NEH and Mellon Foundation fellowships. With John Monfasani, he is the coeditor of Renaissance Society and Culture. His Apocalypse in Rome: Cola di Rienzo and the Politics of the New Age won the AHA's Marraro Prize for 2004. His most recent book, The Trials of Giovanna: A Murder, A Queen and a Kingdom, is forthcoming. He has worked in the book trade since 1967, in reference and humanities publishing since 1975, and in 1985 cofounded Italica Press in New York City. At Italica Press he has been coauthor/editor of several e-books, most recently The Road to Compostela. With Dr. Gardiner he is the co-author of the article on “The Electronic Book” in the forthcoming edition of The Oxford Companion to the Book. He is the editor of a new website, peacedocs.com, devoted to the culture and life of peacemaking.

Antrice Scott is an Editorial Intern for the Humanities E-Book. She is currently a senior at Columbia College, Columbia University majoring in Psychology. When she is away from the HEB Center, Antrice enjoys photography, drawing, and creative writing.
